That situation could have easily been different and Carver may have never captured them/someone else may have distracted him. Clem offered nothing unique. Yes her light size and weight was an advantage, but certainly not a factor which was crucial for the continuation of the story.

Might be. Don't set yourself up for disappointment, friend. I never hype too much for a game and I always accept that the game could be bad. Playing a bad game is better than being disappointed in a bad game. Just be open to the possibility that the game may not be great, alright? There's of course a chance it will be, but if you hype it up so much you might become really upset if it sucks.

I thought it was a bit obvious. Such a luxurious item like an earring would not be lying around, and I doubt she was able to keep such a small item for 5 years. I think there is a community supplying these items to Clem and this girl, which also explains why they have similar jumpers.
Also, keep in mind that in terms of staff size, Telltale is now around five times as big as they were during Season 1. Even if they were still working on Minecraft, they have enough teams to work on 3-4 games at once so it's a moot point anyways.
