As lead designer for the overall season, Chuck Jordan is primarily responsible for the new look, along with art director Pete Tsaykel, concept artist Ryan Jones and others. There was a lot of trial and error before we arrived at the final design, with a lot of people weighing in.
Like I said before, Episode 2 does have a vibe that's distinct from episode 1. The type of story we chose to tell helps to dictate the style. But that style still has to harmonize with the rest of the season. We're lucky to have a lot of really talented visual stylists in the company. I weighed in on the design, naturally, but the final result was beyond anything I had imagined.

Haha, oh man, Monopoly Santa looks awesome. Are those christmas trees on his jacket? I wonder if it's a new character that's just using the old Santa model, or if it really is Santa after his midlife crisis.

I think it's probably related to "Sam with a moustache dressed in old clothes that may be Sam's ancestor or previous incarnation or parallel universe or something".

I see that Sam no longer allows us to make him shoot at random objects whenever we like. Now, this is a feature that I sort of miss because, in past seasons, I found that being able to shoot everywhere all willy-nilly was a great stress-reliever for when you were frustratingly stuck (or if you needed to relieve the anger that the Soda Poppers always brought). So, is there any possibility that you will allow us to make Sam once again shoot almost anything at any time? Or even include a mini-game or a puzzle that requires us to frantically fire our gun (a little like Whack-da-Rats I guess)?

And where the hell does Santa fit in in Egypt. Or maybe it's not about Egypt at all, but the various timestyles as some suggested...

I would have to guess, based on the name of the picture, it is a "Toy Tycoon." Not Santa.

Oh... So the title is an Indianna Jones refferance, not an Egypt reffenace...I see...and the pharOAs are from episode three, not two...I gotcha...

Oh, yes! That must be what it was! Alternate Jurgen!

Alternate Jurgen? I'm afraid you've lost me. Where did you see him?
