Telltale Autumn Sale

PS3 Constant freezing and stuttering.

I bought this game today and although I lost nonstop, I actually love the game very much. But the game constantly stutters and freezes unlike anything I've seen. It kills the joy of the game when it does this. At first I thought it was a bad download. So I erased it and re-downloaded it again, and it still stutters and freezes. A patch is seriously needed to fix this, or am I the only one experiencing this?

Same problem here, seems to happen every hand when the game tries to autosave...

Experienced it on the demo, too. I don't feel right in paying triple the Steam price for a poorer version, even though I really would like it on the PS3.

I would say a patch is definitely needed, because you're not the only one experiencing that.

Had to turn it off last night before I broke something, it got so annoying...

$10 is not triple the price of $5.

Wow you too? After restarting my PS3 ten times, I almost went on a killing spree.

In Australia it's $14.45 on the PSN. Close enough to triple the Steam price.

This is happening to me too and any attempts to contact TT about it have met with no response. Very disappointed. They HAD to know about this before they released it given how many people are having these problems. I don't know a single person who owns the PS3 version who hasn't had it freeze on them.

Do they not even playtest their games? We deserve more than a patch in my opinion.

Yeah, I've tried contacting them via Twitter, and I have received absolutely no response. Which is quite a shame, given the fact that they just love to retweet messages that praise their games.

My PS3 locked up while playing Poker Night 2 for the second time yesterday... I'm done playing this POS until they fix it.

Same here. Fun, but it's really sucks when everything stops.

Yep. Mine locked up twice now too and requires turning off the entire PS3.

Bump, because mine locked up today, and I would like to get the problem resolved.

TellTale responded with some suggestions to make it freeze less. Better than nothing I guess.

Personally I find that if I wait at the end of the round for the drive activity to stop before pressing "X" it works much better. Not great, but better. Considering I can play actually disk based games from the HD and that the saves for this game are very tiny, there's really no excuse for freezing when saving in this game.

I would really like to see this game patched. Been playing quite a bit and the stuttering is annoying but I just had the game lock-up, before saving, at the end of a tournament in which I had busted the last three players in a single hand. Upon starting up the game again I was greeted with "Continue Tournament." Not only did I lose out on that original win but also lost out on a "Bounty Challenge" win. That sucks!

Same here... and as it stands right now, it's completely unplayable.

    Well not completely, just bothersome.

When there's even a slight risk of a game locking up my PS3, it's unplayable to me. Enough damage was done to my 1st gen PS3 when DCUO used to lock that up every other day.

Alright moved in the support section.

    Maybe things will happen.

Doubtful as there is already a number of existing threads in the support section about this.

They haven't responded so far, and the game has yet to be patched, so I'm NOT holding my breath.

However, I will be holding my money the next time a TT game is released.

I just wanted to post a +1 to the skipping issues on PS3. I don't know what is worse having a character set up a hilarious joke only to have the punchline never delivered or hearing the background music get stuck like a record when it is auto saving.
I have pretty much all TT games on PS3 and I WANT to love this product as well, but this is a pretty bad and apparently widespread PS3 problem.

Constant stuttering and locking up. Was really enjoying this but will definitely have to save my money on the next TT game if this doesn't seem like something they feel deserves fixing. Or even responding to.
