Did Clementine miss her shot?

My theory on how even if Lee is dead Telltale wants him to come back (Most likely as a walker.)

God bless.

  • Agreed. It makes so little sense to bring Lee back. His story is done. We need to move on.

  • Its too hard to think of ways lee could make a comeback with Keeping his the arm to handcuffing him to Clem shooting him.

  • Lee is dead. Deal with it!

Clementine didn't miss her shot, it was about 0,5m distance, so how she could miss?

  • About the clean face.
She did clean her face in any case. As her face goes from "blood sparkled" to "clean".
    About her cap,... it has a sight-screen and blood doesn't shot in front @.@;

Ok, this theory is just as stupid as Carley's ones.

  • I don't think so. It wouldn't make any sense. Lee is dead (RIP). We'll miss him. So will Clementine.

  • She even says she killed him in season 2.

No she is a good shot, Even if you left him he is all the way back in Savannah in the jewelry store and possibly handcuffed and too dumb to work out how to get out and i doubt that Clementine will go all that way back south again or that Lee's walker with be able to track that fat north.

  • I would start not believing in any deaths in TWD if they bring Lee back.

  • No.

    100% no.
    Lee's story is done.Even as a walker.

  • for goodness sake I wish people would shut up about Lee! He's not coming back and even if he did it would be as a corpse or walker.

He won't come back though because they are in a different part of the country by the end of the season.

  • The point of season 2 is to see Clementine hold her own, to use all the things Lee taught her to use. Bringing back Lee would ruin that, not to mention, i don't get why people see it like this, why would she miss?

We already seen she's a good shot, she saved Molly from the walker more then a couple meters away from her, perfect shot in the head. And in the last scene she was pretty damn close to Lee, there is no way she could have missed. And if she did, i'm sure she had several bullets to spare, she would fulfill Lee's wish to kill her as he wanted her to, not just say "You know what? Fuck it, not wasting bullets on you, just go ahead and turn into a walker or something" and leave.

TL;DR i am sick of seeing this theory because it does not make sense in the slightest. bye.

  • There is another thingie when she points the gun to lee she points to the chest.

  • It's been 2 years since Clem left Lee. That's plenty of time for him to decay enough to get out of the handcuffs and eventually wander outside. It's also not beyond a walker to rip off part of their limbs to get at a target. Maybe a hapless cat wandered by a walker Lee who struggled so much to get out of the handcuffs he tore his hand off just to get the cat. I'm an animal lover so not a scene I'd like to see personally. Sam's death in S2, Ep1 got to me, especially since I lost a cat barely a month earlier and a dog a year ago.

As to how Lee could get to Clem, look at the walker herds in the series. They tend to come back. If one starts to follow a noise they heard, more start to follow that one walker. Over time, more join. They follow things mindlessly even after they forget. There's a theory that suggests the walker herd in Atlanta in the series was formed due to the helicopter which was the same herd that ultimately killed Sophia and overran Hershel's farm. Probably also not unlikely that that herd is now part of the mega 7500 walker herd we saw when Daryl and the crew were getting medicine. Don't read the comics so not sure if any walker herds continuously reappear, but they likely do there as well. So Lee could've wandered out onto the street and eventually became involved with a herd that was following a sound north. Even if he's not, possible the Savannah herd will reappear and thus potentially Clementine's parents.

Predators tend to follow their prey when they migrate. Walkers are predators, humans and animals their prey. Just takes one person or animal attracting some walkers north to cause them to start going that way. If all life in the south fled north, the walkers would eventually start to wander that way looking for food. It is commented in the series that walkers do slowly starve so they hunt for food just like any other predator does.

Also, not all gunshots to the head are fatal. Some people can survive it so it's possible a walker could, too. Maybe Clem did shoot him in the head but grazed him along the temple or something killing him but not enough to stop him from turning. There are some walkers in the series that seem to have some massive head trauma yet still walk around so apparently it wasn't enough damage to re-kill them. Or possible in her distress, she missed and shot his chest. She was sobbing at the time so through her tears, she couldn't see straight. She probably just saw his head drop when she shot him thus making her think she shot true when she possibly didn't. She also had her eyes closed when she shot him so she wasn't really aiming when she pulled the trigger. You have to remember, there's a massive herd outside. If she did miss, you think she's going to sit there, reload the gun, and try a second time with a herd now alerted to her being in that building? She shot and she ran. She likely had little time to check to make sure he wasn't coming back. She saw his head was down and he was dead.

Clem saying she killed Lee goes 2 ways. She could shoot him, but her running away and ending up captured by the stranger also got Lee killed. So she could kill him twice.

Seeing a walker Lee and even Clem's parents might be an interesting end to the series. Clem putting all 3 down would be her officially stepping out of her childhood and into adulthood. The picture of Lee (and possibly even the one of Kenny) still holds Clem back as well as her connection to her parents via her hat. Loosing all of those items by Episode 5 and then putting down the 3 (and possibly Kenny) people she cared for most would be quite compelling and an interesting coming of age in a zombie apocalypse.

When you really look at what happened in season 1, some people shot Lee. Some didn't. Some handcuffed him to the radiator. Some didn't. In at least one of those scenarios, Lee would be a walker and would be too good of an opportunity to not bring back. Why have Lee for a small set of people who didn't shoot him or cuff him to the radiator but not everyone else? There's a way to explain how a walker Lee can exist in the other 3 scenarios so he's certainly possible.

Simply put: a walker Lee isn't out of the realm of possibility yet. If someone Clem thought was dead returns in S2, Ep2, then a walker Lee can appear by Ep5. The theory's certainly more credible than some of the other ones floating around like Maybelle and the juice box.

  • At first but then afterward she switches her aim to his head (At least it seems that way.)

No... Just no. Clementine said she killed him, I don't think that in the middle of spilling her guts out to the guy she would throw in a lie.

  • Because I've watched so many movies where it's happened I don't really trust a death scene unless I see the person die.

  • She closes her eyes for a moment, but she opens them up twice to look at him, so false. Also if you tell her not to shoot you, she doesn't shoot at him at all, and Lee instead dies from the walker bite. It's not like he was in amazing shape during that moment, he was noticably getting weaker and weaker, to the point of not being able to stand up. It's not starvation, it's not running around for too much, it's the bite that causes that.

And my other sentence still stands, she wouldn't miss and decide to fuck it and just leave without shooting again.

When Clem is about to shoot she closes her eyes so she can't see Lee. Also if you tell her not to shoot you then Lee's head slumps d

  • Thanks man. That was descriptive. I think it's more people just don't want to see walker Lee rather than they don't think it's a viable theory.

    Thanks again and God bless.
