Start Up problem AGAIN!

edited January 2014 in The Wolf Among Us

Come on guys, please do something about your totally-not-working DRM! It embrarasses you as a company!
First, I had a great problem with The Walking Dead on launch, but I thought it was because many people tried to connect. Now I've tried to launch TWAU and guess what, it is even worse! It can't be the server overload problem. What is it, half a year after the launch?
The file deletion and registry deletion solutions do not work. It even seems that the game doesnt even try to connect to the server, as I've got no firewall request for access. The game keeps saying that it can't communicate with Telltale servers. It'd be best if you released a patch...

I've looked over your account, and everything seems to be in order. Please try the registry delete one more time.

Please open a command window. (Below are instructions on how to open a command window)

Windows XP: Go to your start menu and click on run. Type in "cmd" and press enter

Windows Vista / 7: Press the Windows key. Type in "cmd" and press enter

Windows 8: At the start screen, type in "cmd" and press enter

Then copy the command line below and paste it into the command window, press enter, and confirm the question (to confirm the question, type “y” and press enter):

    REG DELETE "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Telltale Games\Launcher”

(Please make sure when you copy the above text that you do not copy a space before or after the text, as that will produce an error message)

  • It seems I forgot to reply to you. Thank you for taking time to check it for me and suggest a solution! :)
