Could Lee's photo and Kenny's drawing still be inside Clem's backpack?

edited February 2014 in The Walking Dead

Up till now, I thought Clem could have easily lost both when she was swept down the river - at the very least, Kenny's drawing would have been reduced to a soggy mess (assuming you didn't choose to burn it at the campfire). But could Clem have shoved the items into her backpack before running off to find Christa?

I know it seems trivial, but these items were the only physical remnants of season 1 Clem still had on her, and it would be great to find out if they had a further role to play in season 2, however minor.

  • Yeah, I'm kind of hoping since I didn't burn Kenny's photo (burned the log) I might get some extra-cool-kenny points if I ever run into him.

  • I think she puts them back in her pack if you don't burn them, and why would you burn them, I wouldn't even burn a photo of Larry. They were Clem's group, don't know why she'd want to forget them, and burning Lee's photo just seems disrespectful

  • most likely. they seem to be too important items for them to simply disappear. especially lee's photo. I never tried it, but apparently you can't even burn it.

  • Yes i think they are both still in the backpack. And it is very interesting that you can´t burn Lees photo, but you are able to burn the drawing of Kenny and his family. This makes me think even more about Kenny beeing the " I thought you were dead person." You could either show the drawing to Kenny and make him remember the man he once used to be, or you don´t show it to him in case you burned it.

  • I'm suprised that Clem and Christa didn't notice the log in the first place- I mean, it was right in front of them wasn't it?
I remember after putting the paper in the fire I was like now what do I- oh a log, how did no-one notice this?

  • All those douches that burned Kenny's picture are gonna be screwed if Kenny's lost it and showing him the picture brings him round.

I don´t think Kenny´s lost it. But he will probaply be a more biter and less active person then the old Redneck we used to know and love. He probaply was wandering around alone for a long time, this changes a person. Similiar to the Governor in the TV show before he met his new family.

  • I'm guessing that's what happened... I'm not seeing Clementine loosing the picture and the drawing liek that because they are her connection to the season 1 events

  • bUT....THE LOG DID NOT WORK.

  • My thoughts exactly. Kenny will probably be sulking somewhere and Clem has the option to go up to him and give him the drawing if it wasn't burned, brighten up that man's day.

Too big and too wet. I burned Kenny instead, not that I liked it. But gotta think of Clems well being. I would've liked her to keep mementos of her past life but it did raise the flames. :/

  • Yes that´s probaply what´s gonna happen. Damn i would even go that far and say that Kenny lost his Godlike Mustache over the past 2years! (even though i hope he didn´t:)

  • I now have an image of Kenny with a beard in my head now.

  • I don't think Kenny is alive at all, so...

I burned the picture because it was dry and apparently large enough to raise the flames, thus keeping Clem warm. Could've even get some of that tasty looking weasel if not for... you know.

  • Well, it did at least brighten up those flames. :)

  • Yes but it is smaller than the fire you get when burning the drawing.

  • A fire is a fire. I would rather have a smaller fire burning a log than a slightly bigger one burning the drawing of Kenny. We didn't get to use the fire anyway.

Yes but it is smaller than the fire you get when burning the drawing.
