Trailer probably will be release after 9 AM in California. You have to check what time it'll be for you if you aren't from that state or even not from USA.

I don't know. 202 had it's trailer released on a Saturday, too. The episode itself was released 10 days later, That would be the 13th... we'll see :)

  • I`m hoping episode 3 will be released to Kindle soon.

(been lurking as a guest decided to register today)

  • you know what gets to me (sorry if i rant here) it's the fact that every time a new screenshot comes out for a new episode or a trailer or whatever, the comments sky-rocket, and it stays that way for a while. but in the space between, nobody really seems to care about what's going on, or wanting to talk about the game, which is kinda what this whole forum is about, right?

i just don't get why more people don't want to talk about this that's all..

  • Welcome to the forum and I hope soon.

  • It's for the PS Vita users and other stuff.

  • NO! We must keep this thread alive or let it die naturally, not be straight up killed by a mod. This is a wonderful thread full of memories, we keep it. WE KEEP IT.

It's a variety of factors. Season Two is getting the release on Android based platforms later than the others since the Telltale Tool (Telltale's in-house engine) wasn't ported to Android at all until late last year, when The Walking Dead: Season One released on Kindle. Hopefully once Telltale gets a better feel for Android, they'll be able to sync the releases with the others a bit better. As a bit of precedence, iOS versions lagged quite a bit behind the other releases when Telltale first started porting to iOS (and some games never even got full seasons, something I'm sure they won't repeat with Android, since they were a smaller company then), but the iOS releases now come only a few days after the PC/Mac/PSN/Xbox 360 releases.

It also depends on the distribution platform (this is what held up the PS3 release of The Wolf Among Us Episode 4 in Europe, and it appears to be what's holding up the release of The Walking Dead Season Two Episode 3 on Vita as well, since Sony is the company who sets the release dates on their platforms). Some companies are more lenient than others when it comes to distribution (Steam for example, requires approval, but is more flexible with release dates, although they upload it themselves so the exact release times differ from the direct from Telltale release), and the process for approval varies between countries (which is why, for example, sometimes there is a lag in PS3 North American releases vs PS3 European releases).

Thanks, I was hoping it would be soon, just have to wait a bit more. Do you know why the release dates vary for each system?

  • Soon? or Telltale soon?

  • We have dates now, what's the point of keeping this thread alive? Unless trying to harvest likes.... that's low.

No release dates for Android platforms have been revealed yet (Telltale's head of PR, Job Stauffer, stated that the release dates are close to being confirmed, but they haven't been announced yet). Since not everyone has the game yet, this thread remains open so that people can keep discussing when the game will release on their platform without getting spoiled by reading the general forum.

As banballow pointed out above, it's available on Vita from Sony. It's probably an issue with downloading on your console. If you post your problem in the support forum. Someone there should be able to help you.

  • typically a game company will delay all releases until they can release at the same time. as for not getting any info back, generally this is due to not knowing the process to find out stuff. most companies have someone that will reply or point you in the right direction, though this isn't the case with all companies (and often is the result of the company being too big for itself). however the issue was that vita wasn't done reviewing the game/episode in order to give a date, thus it may have simply had a longer review process, or maybe they were given the episode late due to the conversion process to vita (code isn't universal, and the more hoops a developer has to do to get it to work on a system the longer it usually takes). the only issue here from TTG is that they are telling us stuff when they know it (which is actually a good thing).
