Meaning of the music

edited March 2014 in The Walking Dead

Hey guys so I absolutely love the music in the games. I was thinking how accurately both this newest song "In the Pines" and "Take Us Back" really fit the mood and what's going on in the games.

Listening to "Take Us Back" this morning though this line really stuck out to me:

Meet me where the snow mount flows
It is there my dear where we begin again

Makes me think that might hopefully be some foreshadowing that Wellington might actually be a place to start over (which I think was a big theme suggested at the end of 400 days by burning the pictures). Of course a song can just be a song but I think telltale probably put a lot of thought in picking one...

Any other lyrics you think might be important?

  • I quite liked the music in Season One, especially the gauntlet theme. This time round though, I haven't liked either of the end music. In fact, I cancel as soon as it starts playing at the end of each episode. Never liked depressing songs, and although I understand why telltale are putting these on, I just prefer not hearing them for personal reasons.

Are we even playing the same game? lol...how about some goofy music at the end of each episode instead?
