What do you think of Rebecca?

In episode 1 I think we can all agree that she was a bitch. But what are you thoughts about her now? Eg. Carver, the baby, Alvin

  • She is getting better :)

  • I still think she's a real see you next Tuesday.

she was a capital Byatch in episode 1 but she seemed nicer and more caring towards clem in episode 2 its good to see she isn't becoming a Larry 2.0.

I think she was just mean in Ep.1 because she was worried about her and everyones safety and because she probably thought clem was a danger and possibly working with carver.

Atleast she seems to regret sleeping with Carver and actually cares and loves Alvin

  • I kinda feel bad for her more than anything. I liked her more when she apologized to Clem about the way she was acting, and she obviously loves Alvin. Who knows, maybe she had sex with Carver because he forced her into it? She doesn't seem like she likes him, so why would she have a "secret relationship" with him before they decided to leave Carver's community? It doesn't make sense to me.

  • Maybe carver was like the governor where he was charming at first but then showed his true colors after he got what he want

  • She changed...a lot. In Ep. 1 she came off as an insufferable bitch who henpecks/bullies her husband and is brutally pragmatic enough to advocate killing a little girl. Come episode 2, she's a lot less bitchy and shows that she really loves her husband. I realize she's stressed out and that pregnant ladies have their hormone imbalances but dayum, it was a big jump.

  • That would make sense. I really wish Andrea would've noticed that before it was too late and left with Michonne, then maybe she'd be alive :/

  • Thank god she's not being a bitch anymore. I wasn't harsh to her on episode 1 and I'm glad she changed for the better. She was very stressed with the baby thing to be her true self, that appears to be a nice person.

  • She was such a b*tch before but she apologizes (sort of) and says it's the baby and her hormones are raging or something like that (which makes sense). She's just looking after herself and Alvin and her baby. She escaped Carver's community so she has to be so much extra careful who she trusts and therefore acts towards strangers (such as Clementine) this way. In the second episode I forgave her because of this and now she's on a neutral level with me but she's not my favourite person or anything, she just got better in the second episode.

  • She's nice now. I even felt a bit bad for her. I have a feeling she didn't have an affair with Alvin just because she's unfaithful or anything like that. Mainly because she seems to be very antagonistic of Carver.

I can see the same thing happening to Bonnie next. Everyone's moaning and saying how she should die in the next episode. We haven't heard her story yet, I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt until I play Episode 3.

  • She apologized so we're good.

  • Rebecca confuses me. I'm really hesitant just because she changed so quickly

I really like her and thought episode two added some layers to her and her relationship with Alvin. I admit I'm both disturbed and intrigued at the darker side to her marriage. I'm of the opinion that she and Alvin love each other but perhaps time in Carver's camp started to change the dynamics of their relationship for the worse. Will be interesting getting the full picture on that.

I also appreciate her ability to be this pleasant when she's forced to travel while pregnant and with a dwindling supply of food. Her endurance is godly, IMO.

  • I like her after Ep 2.

  • I didn't like her in the first episode but...I'm liking her a little more. Hopefully we get to know more about her character.

  • Like everyone else has been saying, I really didn't like her in the first episode, but I'm starting to warm up to her. It's probably really, REALLY difficult to be pregnant and all during the ZA, so I can understand her sometimes snappy attitude. She did try to put up a brave front when she had to confront Carver, which I give her kudos for.

  • I'll help her as much as I can. She's gone from my least favorite in the group to one of my favorites. I don't think I can trust her with everything, but she still shows concern and support for Clementine, and that's something Clem hasn't been getting much of as of late.

  • Well if you get Alvin killed she will hate Clementine and Kenny again

  • Honestly? She's just an unlikable bore in my opinion. Not because she's "mean", but she's just so uninteresting. But then again we still didn't get any opportunity to really bond with anyone but maybe Nick so far, so who knows.

  • And you know this how? Not that I don't think it could happen but you might want to word your speculation more carefully.

Well if you get Alvin killed she will hate Clementine and Kenny again

  • I now dont wanna push her in front of a train..... I guess if one was coming i'd warn her. She's still not exactly my favourite person, I only care about Sarita less and thats because I barely know her

  • "180º turn" is the phrase I'd use to describe her character. Then again, hormones, so who knows?

  • Its good to see that she has changed for the better. Will be interesting to see how long that lasts, though.

  • Multiple Personality Disorder?

  • I think she stopped being a bitch because she realised Clem wasn't going to leave. But that may just be my cynicism talking.

  • Ya, I've kinda deceided that I still don't trust her. If you try pleading to her in episode 1 she says " if it was up to me you would be dead already". That's cold

  • I liked Rebecca in EP2, but I have to admit, I absolutely hated her in the first episode. Wanting to kill a child is unthinkable to me.

I do feel sorry for her though, being pregnant in the ZA is not a good position to be in. And with the possibility of it not being Alvin's, I can understand why she'd be stressed as hell. Still don't think that excuses her behavior in EP1 though. I was a bit surprised when she apologized to Clementine and was suddenly all friendly with her, I would've at least expected her to remain a little untrusting of Clem and reluctant to chat. Especially if you asked her who's baby it was. I think in EP3 she'll like you more if you sacrificed yourself to defend Alvin during the hostage situation. (or at least she should, Clem could've been shot because of that)

I commend her for being so brave in front of Carver though, I'd probably be a shivering mess if I had been in her position and she took it like a champ. Strong female characters, heck yeah.

  • Once bitch, always bitch.

  • Clem got her apology.

No lasting harm came of the shed incident so I've decided to put it aside.

Beside we got way more problems than bitchy women right now.

All my attention is on Carver now.

    And fucking Bonnie.

Fuck that Junkie bitch I kept her alive for this?!

She's dog meat if she gets left alone with Clem.near any blunt instruments.

  • I told her she should probably be nicer to Clem.

Guess she took it as gospel.

    Just like she should :)

  • Now one of the best characters in the game.

  • I really hated her at first but then she became nice so I forgave her. I mean she still seems a little bitchy but I think by now that's just hormones and the stress of "I went sleeping around" and shit.

  • I've actually gotten to like her. I have now idea how the hell that happened...

  • Were okay. I did hate her in episode 1 because she wasn't even prepared to give us a chance but she apologized so at least she's acknowledging how she treated Clem in episode 1 was wrong and I do understand why she acted that way. It can't be easy being pregnant in a zombie apocalypse especially when the baby your carrying is a mans you can't stand and will stop at nothing to get you back.

  • I now like Rebecca and get concerned for her now.

  • I had this pit in my stomach in episode 1. I felt she was being played into the angry black woman stereotype and she felt kind of aggressive and territorial as if there was a "pecking order." This is even more strange since you know, you're play as a child.

I am glad they toned her back in episode 2. I really empathize with her. But I hate really creepy guys hunting down women. It's pretty much like that whole governor/Andrea chase episode in the show. It's mega creepy (and I am pretty sure they intended it) but I just hate stalking and it's uncomfortable. Ugh.

  • Im of the if anybody fucks with Clem they are going to die variety. So yes for her own self preservation it was good she backed off lol.

I decided that the reason she was being so hateful towards Clem in Ep.1 was because she had hormones flying all over the place. Plus it couldn't have been easy inviting a stranger you've only just met to stay in the same house as her.

For these reasons, I chose not to call her out on who the baby daddy was. And I'm glad I made the right decision as she seemed like such a friendly, likable person during Ep.2.

I really liked the bonding opportunities you could have with her. Especially in the ski lodge where you can hold your ear up to the her stomach to hear the baby kicking. I thought that was a really beautiful moment.

I hope nothing bad happens to her in the next episode because I really, really like her and would hate to see her and the baby put in harms way.
