  • If you want to read the Fables comics, you'll either have to buy the actual trade paperbacks or grab some eBook versions, which are available on most online comic shops (and even the Google Play store, where they're currently on offer!).

There's no legal way of downloading them for free, so please don't ask.

  • There might be a few issues you can read online, don't know where off-hand but nothing to download. Support the artists though.

Same goes for me, I'd like to know where I can download some of them. Listen people, I would really like to BUY them, I would like to come to the store take a money out of my pocket and buy as much of them as I can, but they cannot be found in my country, they never got released here, neither in my native language nor in english. Only Vertigo comics that got released here are Sandman and Y The Last Man.

I'm fully aware that piracy is bad and the guys who made the comics should be rewarded for their great work, but the only way for me to get to read them is to download them from internet, it's not like I'm just being a douchebag who wants to get something without giving something in return, I honestly don't have a choice.

  • Have you tried Comixology?

    Lol! Sometimes.

Listen, it's not that I can't buy anything from internet, after all I did got legally Tales of Monkey Island and Wolf Among Us from Telltale, but some things are screwed up.
Anyway, I'll see what I can find and hope they will appear here soon enough, if Sandman did, so this should also I guess....

I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't "boy" me, but will consider that, thanks.

@Zyphon I'd also rather do it legally, it's not like they're too expensive or something. Didn't actually tried Comixology to be honest, just assumed it wouldn't work. Will look into that.

  • I wasn't refering to you, actually, I was talking to OP. You know, he asked the question, I replied to him.

    no biggy, mate.

My tipp? If you don't wanna download ALL issues of TWAU, just download the first ten or so via torrent. You will get to see the general style of the comic and if you really would like to read it. Though it's not legal nonetheless. I still think it's better than wasting a lot of money on a comic only to realize it's not to your taste.

Well I saw previews and some pages here and there on the internet, so I don't think me wanting to read it is an issue. I'm not big on torrents because of viruses, but will probably do it that way if it turns out I can't get them legally in any way. Thanks again!

the stuff on piratebay usually is safe. Especially if you go for the stuff with a lot of seeders. You can also read the comments to see if people appreciated the download or not. I know it saved me a lot of time I would have otherwise wasted on a wrong download. I would give you a link, but I just know it will be deleted, so I won't. But yeah...don't go using torrents from any other side than piratebay. It's usually not worth the risk unless you know what you are doing.

anyway, good luck with the comics.

I have used piratebay before, and yeah I do usually look up the comments before downloading. There's no need to post the link I'm sure i'll manage to find it.

    And thanks very much!

  • DO NOT DISCUSS PIRACY.

Downloading comics from The Pirate Bay is illegal and discussion of it will not be tolerated on this site.

I will not warn people about this again.

  • Ok, point taken. Won't happen again.

You could've made that letters a bit bigger though, they're hard to read from 20 feet.

  • Why don't you just buy them and if you can't do that I'm sorry but don't be a dick and steal it!

  • No offence, but you can purchase and read them online or ship them into your country, you know... No excuses

  • Cheap assholes killing the industry....

There are some possibilities like that and will see what can be done when I'm able to dedicate some time for an action like that. I might simply bring them from abroad in a few months actually. And, as I said, I'd definitely prefer to do it legally, so none taken.

  • And of course you would know what my local comic store looks like. Actually, being in Europe, I'm probably exposed to more various and interesting comics, graphic novels and magazines than your ass has ever heard of. So don't be an ignorant fuck, okay?

  • I was just asking no need to be rude. I'm sorry if anyone got in trouble. My intention was only to ask :(. I'm just tempted to read them because TWAU is awesome series.

  • You can download the first one and see if you like it here:http://magazinedown.com. You will need vbr reader for that(google it).

If you like it,then please buy it. I don't want to promote illegal content. Thank you.

  • You can always put on a fake hook hand, go yarr and acrew your comics that-a-way.

And when the hell have I said that American comics aren't good? Don't put words in my mouth mate, but if you presume that only Americans have great comics, then I say that you're terribly wrong.
By the way, I'm pretty sure Judge Dredd is British. You should've used Batman as an example instead, which does happen to be one of my favorites.

Maybe you should read my response again, which was to a jerk who for some reason presumed that I live in some third world country and tried to act superior to me, which even if I did live in a third world country comes of as completely douchebagy.

Then again, I'm pretty sure I'm just wasting my time trying to reason with you, since you're for some reason (which is unknown to me) obviously resolved on attacking me and I won't waste any more of my time replying to you here, so don't waste yours expecting a reply. I'm sure you have better things to do with yourself. Then again, maybe you don't.

lmao, keep telling yourself that. One of your biggest comic icons is Judge Dredd...and he is an American. XD
