I'm stilllllllll waiting for season 2 ep 4 update on my kindle.......anyone else?
Yep. It's seriously enraging. I've vented plenty on the release date discussion thread. We still have NO episode 4, NO release date, and NO communication from Telltale. They sure have no problem taking our money though. It's been 2 and half months since EVERYONE else got Ep. 4, yet we haven't even heard a word about it. It's very unprofessional to treat part of your customer base like this. This is the last time I ever buy anything from Telltale for my Kindle. I would have bought the PC or Xbox version if I knew it was going to be like this. It should come with a disclaimer that if you're a Kindle user, that you should expect your episodes to come months after everyone else and that you should expect NO communication from TTG.
One more thing, I suggest that you also post a thread on the Support forum (click "Support" at the top of the page), as well as the release date discussion thread. If we keep putting the pressure on them, especially on the Support forum, they may finally respond. Telltale Mike says he gives "the team" our messages, who knows if it's true or not, but it's worth trying. It's sad that we have to pester them so much to get something we paid for a long time ago.
Telltale puts more priority into PC and console version of these games. In the future, definitely just purchase their games through one of those systems.
Oh, trust me, I've learned my lesson. What grinds my gears is that iOS got their's back in May. I didn't expect Kindle HDX/Fire TV to be several months behind iOS. There's nothing to be done about it at this point, but as you've said, it's not worth buying through anything other than PC/console. I own TWD S1 and I have a season pass for TWD S2 right now. You're right, there haven't been any problems with them. Only with my Kindle. I should have stuck with what I knew, but I just got a new Kindle Fire HDX and I wanted a good game for it. Bad decision on my part.
