achievement not popping

No matter what I do I can't get Once Upon a Time to pop. Being its for the first chapter/prologue of Episode 4 it should be automatic. Granted, I played it too soon(as soon as it downloaded). The achievement showed on my screen but never gave me credit on XBL nor does it show I've gotten it in any way anywhere. I replayed it a couple times. Got advice to just recover my profile and replay it, did that twice. Then i deleted my save, deleted the game and my profile. Reloaded the game, recovered my profile and still will not pop. Is there any clue as to what I can do?

    clear your system cache and delete then re-download your profile. You should be fine after that's done.

    • Nope. Cleared cache, deleted save, game and profile, cleared again, recovered and reinstalled, cleared again. Nothing. I tried this both on and offline after these steps. So discouraging. I've replayed this chapter at least 10 times now

        This is literally the solution to this problem all the time. I'm not sure why this isn't working.. I'd advise you to go on the xbox forum or contact telltale's support email since this is really serious. Also deleting your game save and game isn't necessary, just your profile.

        Also before you try anything else you shouldn't play through the whole game, just after the first achievement pops, look at your achievement list on twau and see if it's there. If once upon a time is there then it worked but yeah that'd save alot of time.

    I apologize for the inconvenience. Unfortunately our known workaround to fix this particular issue, is recovering your gamertag, clearing your system's cache, and then playing through the Episode again to pick up any missing achievements. If you are still unable to receive the achievements after replaying the Episode from the beginning, all the way through, please contact Microsoft Support for further assistance.
