Woo it's finally started! We've just released the first episode of Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures, "Fright of the Bumblebees." Are you guys checking it out? What do you think so far?

We've got more at the W&G website, including Wallace & Gromit hints and walkthroughs for those who are stuck right out of the gate. (It's okay, we'll only mock you behind your back!)

Grand Adventures continues in May with episode two, "The Last Resort," followed by "Muzzled!" and "The Bogey Man." We'll have more about those guys in the near future. For now, enjoy!

Also, since we love deals, we have another one:
To celebrate the launch of the series, we're following up last week's crazy deal with an all new crazy deal. We're crazy, apparently! During launch week, the game bundle is marked down to $29.95 (usually $34.95), and when you buy W&G you can add as much other stuff from the store as you'd like into your cart, and it'll all be 50% off! This is a ridiculous deal, if you were curious.

  • Haven't played it yet. Can't wait!
  • will it be released on a disc and is there a way to download it in the uk without it taking so long to download.

Oh, and I also have to mention the music. I've loved the music in all of the Telltale games, and this game is no exception.
Right, I second this! It was no surprise to see Jared Emerson-Johnson in the credits again, and I must say he did a great job on the music!

Yes. And you can get the DVD for just shipping costs when the DVD is released.

Took me about 10 minutes to download the 337MB of the first episode from Austria, so unless your provider only does dial-up it should be doable.

And I think the game is available via Steam as well, if that works for you - though that might void the "mail me the DVD" offer...

  • I just finished it....it was a blast! I'd say it's already better than SBCG4AP! I was and still am annoyed by the controls, but the rest of the game was on par with an average Sam and Max episode.

I third this! Awesome work as always Jared!
  • I love it, but I have a big problem. Not with Wallace and Gromit, but with THIS COMPUTER. I play on graphics detail 1 and it STILL lags like hell. As is said in EBA, HEEEEEELP!!!

Just get a better computer. Problem solved.
  • Aside from a few bugs (I hit two mentioned, and I had one that when I closed the map i just got an empty screen with a brick wall background, but was able to open the map again and move) I thorougly enjoyed the game. The controls were fine after 2 minutes, although some of the camera changes were a little tight.
