I've been watching a lot of HVGN lately, so I recently got a few new games.

Metal Storm: It's a lot of fun, and it's very entertaining. The controls are incredible, as are the graphics. It's a bit on the difficult side, though not too much.

Nightshade: Again, a lot of fun and it's very challenging. It reminds me of Telltale games, in the sense that it's a comedy point and click game. The menu system is a bit annoying, though.

Duck Tales: It really feels like playing an episode of the cartoon with all of the ridiculous settings and enemies and whatnot. It's a lot of fun, and the soundtrack is amazing.

Chip & Dale: Rescue Rangers: The levels are very linear, and the item-getting sound is horrible, but overall, it's a very entertaining and enjoyable experience.

Wild Guns: A very fast-paced shooter game, it's very enjoyable and has a great soundtrack. The costume-changing also reminds me of Smash Bros.

    Hungry Video Game Nerd?

    Happy Video Game Nerd.

Anyway, I've been playing Odama. It's a RTS Pinball Voice-Activated game for Gamecube. It's complicated, but really fun!

Just bought Mass Effect at Best Buy, since they were out of Silent Hill: Homecoming (-.-). I've rented ME before, but I've been wanting to play it again, so... I'm playing it again.

Also, with this purchase, I now own more RPGs for the 360 than I ever have for any one system before.

Playing though Cannon Fodder again, had it on my Amiga years ago.
Got it on GoG.com (Good Old Games) for 6 bucks, well worth it. The game is still really fun today.

However, it's very noticable that this game comes from a time when games were hard :D
I'm having lots of trouble with some of these later stages.

Bully for the PS2. I'm going for 100%

On the final stage of Cannon Fodder now. If anyone here for some strange reason missed out on this gem, I highly recommend it!

They're selling it on GoG.com for 6 bucks, very much worth it.

Rolando. It's a great game for the iPhone/iPod touch.

I got this to replace LocoRoco, because I don't have a PSP. I played the demo, loved it, then I got a iPod touch for my birthday. I found out about Rolando, got the app, and it really satisfied me. So if you have an iPhone, and want a game like LocoRoco for it (But you don't have a PSP), get Rolando.

None. I bought Wallace & Gromit, but it won't run.

I somehow missed out on The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess when it was first released 3 years ago, so I'm doing a run-through now (at least until June). After playing through a bit of it, I'm thoroughly pissed at myself for not buying it 3 years ago.

    Wolfenstein 3D, Fallout 2 and...
Damn, am I only playing two games?

I started playing Paper Mario on the N64's Virtual Console recently. Personally, I like the second game in the series the best, because it really plays more on the whole "paper" aesthetic. But the first one is still fun though. :)

yeah, my oldest sister is replaying that one too guy.

Gears of war 2: been getting back into the multiplayer, which is excellent when it doesn't lag, the campaign is pretty fun too. Although not recommended for younger gamers.

However it did not "blow me away" [ign.com]

Currently playing Earthbound! Man I love this game so much, one of my favourite games for the SNES. If only I could track down a copy of Lufia II.

Lego Star Wars.....I don't know why
  • edited May 2009
I'm waiting for Wallace & Gromit Ep. 2 to load, so yeah.
yeah, my oldest sister is replaying that one too guy.

I keep leaving the game at Dry Dry Ruins. I never have enough health or items to get through the place. Damn, I never noticed how horrible I was at RPGs >_<

    Animal Crossing.... and De Blob.

I'm now re-... re-playing Matroid Prime 3 Corruption. I'm doing this not only because it was a great game, but also because I need to touch up on my Wii fps skills before June 23.

Started getting back to playing Animal Crossing: City Folk, for no other reason except I can. My character's name is "TomServo" (I blame you for this, 16_BIT_MARIO1 :D) and my town name is "the Hood".

Burnout 3. I kept putting it off since I'm not a racing fan, but this game is amazing. I only wish the custom soundtrack worked with the Xbox Originals download version, since the EA Trax songs are awful.

Quick point, on the original xbox the game did support custom soundtracks but with how it is implemented on the 360 it won't work with backwards compatibility, I do however love that game.

Finished Eternal Sonata. bah, it was ok. Prettiest game I've ever played though, but I'm starting to get tired of the whole J-RPG thing. I guess I've played way too many of them and they are all basically the same. I'll have to be more selective!

    Anyhow, still playing:

    -Dead Space
    -Persona 4
    -Street Fighter IV
    -Kingdom Hearts: Re:Chain of Memories

    And this week I added:

    -Oblivion.

    and of course:

    -Wallace & Gromit, Episode 3: Muzzled! ;)

Well, at least we know you mean it now :p

I've never really been that good at RPGs. I always go in with less than enough items (especially healing ones) and I'm usually stuck at boss battles doing little to nothing. Like when I was first playing Kingdom Hearts: CoM (my only KH game, and I'm going to have it stay that way), I kept frequently restarting my Game Boy because the level I was going through was too hard. So yeah.

Anyway, right now, I'm replaying Smash Bros. Brawl with my friends online to help them learn the ropes of the games. Most of the time, I win, so they change their character to the one I'm playing as for the next battle. This gets pretty annoying >_<

Y'know, this may be the longest post I've ever written.

That's how it was with my sister when we were playing Mario Kart, until I told her it isn't about who you play as but their weight class.

Thankfully, she hasn't had to think about that since I unlocked the Mii Outfit A, so now she plays as her Mii. :D

No More Heroes: Quite repetitive in certain aspects but great looking, as well as having excellent characters. some of the finishing moves are a little unresponsive for me though.

    Resident Evil 4 Wii:
I know I have mentioned this earlier but I finished it a couple of days ago and it has been one of the best games I have played recently and love it.

Fable 2: Got the newest DLC been enjoying it especially revisiting Oakvale, although it is far too short like the game.

EA SPORTS ACTIVE is currently in my Wii... and it's kicking my butt.

Today is Day 2 of my 30 Day Challenge, and I don't think I'll be able to walk at work today. And I have usher duty that involves me walking from theatre to theatre. :(

I just got The Simpsons Game, and if you get past the horrible camera and slippery controls, the game can actually be quite fun, and the story of the game is very good, which satires the video game industry. Right now, I'm at the final boss, which is
a Dance Dance Revolution Revelation battle against God to "Rock You Like a Hurricane". Pure EPICNESS.

Currently I'm playing Thief: The Dark Project, and it scares the crap out of me (like most first-person-style games tend to do)! But hey, I'm halfway through it so I must not be too terrible at it!

...Though once I get tired of constant heart attacks I take a break with Animal Crossing: City Folk, where I don't have to worry about getting accosted by guards or having my face torn off by a zombie. :D

Punch Out came in the mail last night!! So much fun! :D

I tried Chrono Trigger the other day, and forgive me when I say that I hated it.
