Help!

Ok so, 1 month ago i finished chapter 1 of the walking dead and i was using all 4 save slots on the game on the game the walking dead so i was playing in those 4 but finished it in the 2nd file so i deleted the 1st 3rd and 4th file.Went to the second file to continue the second Episode and the screen went black and it said "Game not found" and "there is no save file ".I said ok i thought it would probably be that that i haven't bought the episodes(DLC'S).So i downloaded and bought all of the Episodes 2 3 4 5 and 6 .And tried if the game will work but it still said game not found and a black screen.IM SO MAD I bought all of the dlcs and still doesnt work.PLEASE HELP.

I apologize for the inconvenience. Can you please clarify if you have started the game while connected to the internet to ensure you have received the latest update for the game? If not, I recommend doing so. If you have downloaded the latest update available for the game, can you please clarify if you can start a New Game without seeing the black screen?

  • Hey, thanks for answering I started a new game and I finished episode 1 of the walking dead and I put to continue the next episode (episode 2 ) and it loads and a black screen comes up and says "no game data" and sometimes it says other stuff. And yes I started the game connected to the Internet and got the update but still doesn't work .

My apologies, if you are still receiving this error message, your save data may have become corrupted. This can happen if the game were ever exited/closed during an autosaving or loading sequence. I recommend deleting the Save Data Utility for the game from your Save Data Utility on your PS3 XMB, then start a new game. (To do this, go to the Games tab on your XMB, and scroll up to the Save Data Utility menu and hit X. Then inside the list, find The Walking Dead: Season One and press Triangle, then select Delete.)

Then restart the game, and your save data should be cleared, and you should be able to progress through the game successfully.

My apologies, can you please clarify if you deleted all of your save data from the Save Date Utility menu, or only one of your save slots from inside the game?

Have you ever played the disc version of the game, and are now playing the digital version? Do you currently have a Playstation Account with a Playstation Plus subscription, can you please clarify if you have the save files backed up using the Playstation Cloud feature?

My apologies. You mentioned that you bought and downloaded all of the Episodes 2-5 and 400 Days, and that you are playing the disc version. Can you please clarify if you have the downloaded episodes installed when playing the disc version? If so, please try deleting the digital version of the game, then restart the disc version, and see if you are able to play the game successfully.

Could you possibly take an image or screenshot of the error message when it appears on-screen?

If you have the picture/screenshot currently on your computer, you can upload it to an image hosting website, then copy and paste the download link in a reply to this thread, and I will be able to click the link, and view the image.
