Xbox one episode 2 problem
Having a problem where the game stays at a black screen at the end of episode 2 after showing the trailer for what's coming next episode. Any one else having this?

You were able to download episode 2 for xbox? How?! Please share lol!
I already had the season pass and episode 2 was in the add ons section in the Xbox store.
If you are experiencing a black screen at the end of the episode, you may have received an incomplete, or corrupted download file of the Episode. I recommend deleting, and re-downloading the episode from your Xbox (this will not affect your saves), then replay the last part of the episode, and you should be able to complete the episode and see the Next Time On portion of the episode.

Seeing the "Next Time on" portion is not the problem. After the preview is done showing, the black screen with smoke in the upper right corner is displayed ( http://imagizer.imageshack.us/a/img538/6035/7dAY95.jpg ) and nothing else happens. Uninstalling and reinstalling the episode does nothing still does this immediately after the preview ends
Same thing here as wr91ef. I uninstalled and reinstalled like you said to do and even tried switching from external to internal and vice versa and neither worked. Just as a reference where I am getting a black screen is where either the credits or the statistics of my choices would normally pop up in telltale games.
Pretty sure this is going to need a patch for us to finish it. Absolutely disgraceful I don't think I've ever played a game where the end credits glitch not to mention the pita it was to download the episode owning the season pass (llooking like the last Telltale one ill ever buy)
When you reach the black screen, can you please clarify if you can see anything on the screen? You mentioned smoke, and a heading, could you possibly take a screenshot of the black/blank screen you are speaking of? Also, are you able to see your completed Episode 2 save files by selecting Change Save File from the main menu?
It's just a black screen with smoke moving in the upper right corner. Its like the end credits never load or were programmed wrong or something. It stays on this screen until the game is Force quit thru the menu button on the dash. Waiting on the screen does nothing.

Yes, I can see my saves from the main menu using X, however my Episode 2 save is never marked as completed because it hangs at this screen after the Ep3 Preview!!
If this isn't fixed might as well refund us- theres no point in playing 3 thru 6. This is just as bad if not worse than the choices issue! How something this game breaking is let out the door is astonishing!!!

I agree with all the issues going on with the X1 version not just this issue in general the dev team for this game should be ashamed this was released like this

It looks like a lot of us actually have the my choices options and they carried over. Are the only people that are able to finish ones who didnt import data from Ep 1?
Just by counting in the threads I've posted in about this issue with the amount of users affected by this game breaking bug , the least they could do is acknowledge they are working on the problem
Same. I haven't seen the black screen error yet on x1 because the game is unplayable for me!!! No voice / dialogue audio...
