updating content, checking for dlc
Hi,
ever since the release of episode 2 i have been unable to load the game. on the first screen it asks you to click anywhere. once you do that the game checks for updates . however this keeps going forever and never stops. i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game but that hasn't helped either. can someone please help me with this issue. as i don't really know what else to try.

I apologize for the inconvenience. Can you please clarify what platform you are playing the game on? (PC/Mac/PS3/Xbox/iOS/Android?) If you are on a mobile device, can you please clarify which device, and what OS version you are running? Also, if you are on PC/Mac, can you please clarify if you are playing the Telltale Games version, or the Steam version? After we receive this information, we will be able to assist you further.
I'm having the same issue on XBOX One. I installed Episode 2 yet every time I boot up the game it just says "Updating Content" and never goes away. I'd love to start playing...
I apologize for the inconvenience. This appears to be a common issue that can occur after updating/installing a game on an Xbox One. You can read more about this particular issue in This Article. If you start the game, press A to continue, and you become stuck on the loading screen, please try hard resetting your console by holding the power button down for 10 seconds. Then start the game again and you should not experience the issue anymore.
I am playing the telltale version of the game on pc
Please make sure that you have disabled any anti-virus or internet firewall programs that are open and running, then try starting the game again, and see if you are then able to successfully connect with our servers so that you can update the game's content successfully.
