Bottle Breaker

I'm at the point where I need to snatch the bottle breaker. Any hints on how I'm to distract the guy?

Such a reputable glass blower would only leave his stand if something dreadful happened to his merchandise.

Well, that's what I did, and it did the trick.

New question: I've followed the map and I'm at the "calendar," which it looks like I'm supposed to turn. Clues, please? :)

Somewhat less melodramatic than how others achieved this then! :p:

For the calendar, there's an ongoing discussion here: http://www.telltalegames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9708

It works. Looks like a bug.

I actually used the bottle on the bottle breaker in my game as well and had it work. No wonder I got stuck later on. Looks like this is a bug. :(

I encountered the same bug with the bottle breaker.

If you simply use the bottle on the breaker, you'll be stuck later on.
Unless you have the bottle breaker in your inventory, you cannot deal with the ancient door.

But you can still get the bottle breaker how you would've gotten it ORIGINALLY (if there wasn't the bug).

Yup this one confused me. After opening my bottle which I did while the guy was watching, it then didnt occur that I could take the bottle opener. Only much later did I realise to go back, do it again, and take it. otherwise enjoying the game :D love,

    Perhaps you don't need bombs.

Have you visited your newly aquired vessel?

Bombs...you're on the right track. Any other pirate-y places have bombs or bomb-like equipment?

Do you think the Island's winds could affect airborne objects?
