  • It's never late, my friend. And I'm not just saying this because I loved those books when I was younger.
  • Wow, now I'm getting all nostalgic. Ahhh, I remember when those books were cool like, 5 or 6 years ago. Then Dave Pilkey was never heard from beacause apparently he was working on the 9th book; and then Diary of a Wimpy Kid was released and knocked the series down like a sack of bricks! Perhaps this movie might bring back the sereis popularity, or fail and send the series deeper into the grave it's dug itself.

    HE actually stopped for a while because of family troubles. He's actually got new books out.

    Anyway, I don't think Dreamworks is the best choice to make a children's book into a movie. Did you see The Cat in the Hat?
