So... What about the boat...

I hated the ending of episode 5, I love what they did with it and added closure... But they cancelled out all progress that was gained from episode 4 and 3... It seems like the progress made from getting the boat, the boat battery and supplies was a waste of time since the plot went no where with it...

The ending felt very depressing, and the 'it ends here' factor made it very tragic. But I felt it added no overall closure to the main plot... :/ only the fact that he would die anyway.

Beat him down "and" locked him in a shed with no food or water.

Vernon and the others are despicable and deserve a horrible death.
lee and kenny were just as bad, killing several survivors.

Vernon knowingly destroyed the chance of survival for a child and a young couple in an apocalyptic scenario, and went through Kenny to do it.
replace vernon with lee and that's what happened to campman.
  • Lee didn't know that a person was connected to that vehicle.

Vernon KNEW Lee's group would use it...

    BIG... no HUGE difference. :p

I know, I just hated Campman's character and I felt the need to mock him. :D

They all knew it was a possibility. So Lee and the group are all held accountible for.

The possibility that Vernon would rob them?

no that someone owned the car and could still be alive.
  • Or they could have gone out and taken a dump and gotten jumped by walkers.

    We did NOT know.

On the other hand, the boat had guards (unless everyone went) - so it was flat out malicious theft.

Oh, okay. That makes sense. Although I think Campman's reaction was beyond the scale of predictability.
