They gave me a creepy vibe at the start when we first meet them after being in the woods, when mark was hit by the arrow , i knew he was going to die and the accident with the crazy woman just confirmed my suspicions of the st.johns.

  • Andy seemed cool to me at first.

Danny was really suspicious from the very start.
I pretty much knew they were up to no good during the walk to the dairy once Danny asked for specifics like exactly how many people we are etc.
  • At first I was kind of unsure, but thought they were probably good, and the Bandits were the main enemy in Episode 2, but when Danny shot Jolene after what she said, I knew something was weird. Andy seemed alright really but Brenda and Danny were kind of creepy. Back at the farm I was wondering what was up with them and the moment Danny said that dinner would be "a good one", I thought they were cannibals. Also because Mark never showed up afterwards and Brenda wouldn't let you inside.
  • yea, but even if you were kind of slow, the jolene scene gave it away. I am not talking about the shooting of her. When you found the camcorder and Danny got all nervous and then after you stated the battery is dead he said "Oh... good!". That was a 100% give away that they are doing evil things.
  • I actually distrusted them from the second they introduced themselves. They acted way too nice and neighborly for people living in a zombie apocalypse. They just stroll up and ask for gas? Even the most well meaning individuals are probably going to be somewhat defensive around a group of armed people, like when you first meet Christa.

Pretty much the whole time I was at the Dairy I was trying to find out what they were hiding. I wanted to leave right after the bandit attack and when Brenda wouldn't let me see Mark I figured it was because they had done something (probably terrible) to him. When I saw the old clothes piled up in the barn I knew they were killing people, then I saw the inside of the slaughterhouse right next to it...
  • I didn't. I'm pretty naive, I thought that the game was trying to make me think that there was something wrong with them, when there wasn't. That's probably due to the fact I couldn't open the barn door; Jolene seemed pretty crazy to me, I did realize she had lost her daughter to the bandits, so I didn't know what to make of that situation, And I thought Danny being creepy was part of the "we're a creepy family but we're nice" act.

So yeah, I was deceived up until I found our legless friend, Mark. I was pretty pissed for being deceived, so after I left the meat locker, Danny kinda paid for the deception :D
  • "Couple of our old farmhands grew up in Macon, they grow 'em good there."

Kind of silly but I started to suspect something was up when Brenda said that.
  • I did. I felt it from the first meeting, actually, in a very small way. I wanted to believe they were good people, but my instincts were saying something different.

The fact that in the scene immediately afterward they kept probing for information which they would want if they planned to invade or take over; that made me very suspicious. At that point, I was really wishing Lee was as cautious as I would be in such a situation, but they were all very hungry... that eats away at anybody's ability to be rational and not emotional.
  • I suspected from the title.

I had them pegged when two clean-cut "farmboys" showed up as if without a care in the world.

I knew I was right on the way to the farm.
  • I suspected from the very beginning, but that's more to do with my familiarity of the TWD universe. Actual in-game hints that confirmed my suspicion was the walk to the farm, when the brothers start asking you questions about the inn's situation (especially leadership and number of people). My initial guesses was they were luring us in for the bandits and cannibalism.
  • I suspected them of something immediately, solely because of how Danny looked. He has such a horridly evil face, you can not think he's anything short of evil with a face like that. Otherwise i would have trusted them. I despise people who mistrust others based on them being "too friendly" and don't think such a phrase should exist. Maybe the questions got a little too far but(being extremely susceptible to curiosity myself) it didn't raise any alarm bells with me.

The scene with Jolene was the nail in the coffin for me.
