Did you cry at the end of episode 5?

edited January 2013 in The Walking Dead
Be honest.

I did, and it was a first for me.

Not really crying but some swollen eyes, sure.
It was a beautiful ending. I got the same feeling as at the end of Half Life 2 - Episode 2.

    ditto.

No, but I think it was because I was so emotionally drained. I just let the ending wash over me and sighed.

I havn't been 100% right since. 24 hours ago I was chained to a rail, turning into a walker and trying to give life pointers to a girl I'd been trying to protect all game.

I actually just felt pride. No tears.

I mean i had been through the game with setback after setback. In terms of what i had wanted to happen and was trying to do, Protect Kenny & his family...Failed, Defuse the group politics...Failed, Protect Carley... Failed, Escape on a boat...failed, Save yourself...Failed

Clem was the only thing left to live for and when she manages to drag you to safety, starts killing walkers and shooting the stranger. I felt like she was capable of surviving without me

    Protect Clementine... Success.

Just a little of my shattered hopes were restored at the last second. I meant it when i said it would be OK.

Almost but stopped. I haven't cried since 2007 and I want to keep it that way.

    Just Clementine's tears...

    It's difficult not to

Yes I cried at the end and to be honest that was the very first time in a videogame.

Didn't cry but I was sad. It takes a lot more to make me cry. I cry about once in 5 years and that usually is when someone I love dies. Last time was in 2006 when my grandma died unexpectedly.

I am far more likely to cry from laughter than crying from sadness.

Clementine was the reason I got a bit teary-eyed. I was much more sad about Clementine losing her caretaker than Lee just dying.

I bawled my eyes out at the end.

A few previous parts even had me crying, like when Kenny mercy kills Ben.

I did but it was mostly because of Clem crying. It broke my heart!

It's something that just happens when you let yourself become attached to characters over a long period of time.

And then you have to watch them die.

Yeah, I cried. Manly tears, then sobbing baby tears.

Nope, just said "Oh, fuckin 'ell" a lot.
  • edited January 2013
No. But I was very sad.

I was crying on the inside.

    I did, because of Clemetine.

First she saw her parents on the streets as walkers. Minutes after that she also lost Lee, and to see her cry broke my heart, it really did.

A 9 year old girl, afraid and left alone in a crazy world full of walkers and dangerous living people. I hope she will be OK, and that she will be involved and alive in the next season, otherwise it will be to depressing for me.

I shed some tears, partly manly tears and some girly. My poor Clem, all alone now, and I cant protect her anymore.

Nope, I just went into a deep depression. I wish I'd cried. Would've been easier

I didn't cry, but it was a rollercoaster of emotions...

Devastatingly sad because of Lee's fate and him not being able to watch over Clem anymore. But glad that she will be in good hands with Omid and Christa (provided that they find each other, which I think seems to be the case). And proud of Clem for growing up fast, learning all the things she was taught.

It was some really intense, top-notch writing and acting. Can't wait for Season 2.

I cried like a little bitch. And im a 22 yearold bearded muscular man. I was just so sad that Clementine had to go through all of that, that shes all alone now, and I cant protect her anymore.

Telltale games you sure know how to tell a tale.

I didn't cry, just the tears poured from his eyes, in that moment when I killed stranger, and Clem hugs Lee, she said: "I'm sorry Lee...I'm so sorry." Lee: "It's ok sweet pea" *music starts* http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7iOiBH4xIbg It's just a very touchable moment.
