Telltale Autumn Sale

I Blame Kat,

If she didnt kill herself she would of been there to stop.Clem running off and Lee getting bit.
Look at Kenny he is trying. Clem. Everyone has baggage but she selfishly killed herself destroying Kennys last bit of humanity and dooming Lee.

Well, anything up till this point tells us Katjaa wasn't that strong of a personalty holding on because she thought things would get better eventually.

The moment Duck was going to be a zombie and had to be shot (or just left alone apparently) she knew that things were never going to go back to the old days and just caved. This was a long time coming to be honest. It didn't help she either suspected or knew her husband murdered someone.

Also, Katjaa was hardly that good of an influence on Kenny because he was already being prick when his entire family was still alive.

Well it's Doug/Carley's fault Lee got bit. Clem said she didn't want anything from the car. But they had to give her batteries anyway.

Ya! Shame on kat for killing herself and not wanting to live in this cruel and sad world where someone close to you can die any second! Kat is so horrible for being so selfish and not wanting to live in such a evil fucked up world! It's all of her fault!

You know the dude who invented walkie-talkies? Yeah, it's all his fault.

I will say that it is selfish of Kat to off herself. Was it wrong? Not necessarily but she left behind a husband who was depending on her. Not only does he lose his son but his wife too? Come on, I know the world is in shambles and she lost her son but she still has Kenny. Unless she didn't really like him which I doubt she wasn't taking his well being into account. It's bs. Duck would not have wanted his mother to go out this way, and now Kenny is more fucked up because of it. I do not blame Lee getting bit because of this though, but obviously this adds another layer of craziness to Kenny.

It's all Larrys fault. If he didn't decide to take a nap in the way of a salt lick he might have been able to do something. Screw that guy!

Its totally thomas edison's fault; if he didnt harness the power of electricity (enter any reason not previously mentioned) would never have happened

I love all the sarcastic posts, haha.

It's kind of absurd to go back to when Kat offed herself to blame her for everything. Kaatja is not perfect and she has her flaws she does not want to live in this cruel zombie world. This is like going back and blaming Lee for even existing, it's absurd. There are circumstances, especially in a zombie apocalypse, and that's what makes it so interesting.

Honestly, I could never criticize anybody who decides to off themselves in a ZA, especially one as bad as TWD.

Katjaa couldn't deal with her only son dying... I wouldn't really call that being selfish.

I would. She is married to Kenny, she knows him better than anyone and knows that he can't handle losing both her and Duck, yet she still forces him to suffer through it.

Family is the only thing that ever mattered to Kenny and Katjaa knew that. She takes away the only thing he lived for.

I suppose i can understand not wanting to struggle anymore, but don't do it when people - your family - are depending on you, especially when you are the only thing that keeps them going.

I'm with Kenny, i forgive her but it doesn't make it any less wrong.

When you look at all of the details it's obvious that they're a bigger threat than any organized forces can handle, no matter their size. Don't just think of how they're slow and stupid, think of how they don't suffer pain and can increase their numbers one hundred thousand fold without even trying. Combined with the fact that they can easily get into any fortified location on Earth, no military is going to stop them without extreme effort, no matter how many guns they have.

The only somewhat effective option is to just nuke the planet, but that still won't get rid of them.

Why not blame Ben then? He got Duck bitten. Or Lily for putting Ben on watch. Or Lily for not watchin the supplies. Come to think WTF is Lily doing while all this is going on?

Unless the military was specifically targeted on the onset, we're talking about thousands of soldiers with body armor and automatic weaponry, where the most we ever see is a few jeeps and a crashed helicopter.
If a group of civilians can find ways to fight walkers using shoddy melee weapons and makeshift barricades I suppose I have a hard time picturing a potential assembly of carpet bombings and armored vehicles with following fuel reserves totally failing in the first few months.

Of course the story wouldn't be interesting if the military handled things, so best to leave it to the suspension of disbelief.

It's Robert Kirkman's fault for inventing TWD. Although I'm glad he did invent it, though.

Losing a child is the worst possible experience a human could ever go through. No one, and I repeat no one, should have to experience that pain. And in that moment, when she's standing over her dying son's body, I don't blame her for taking her life. She probably wasn't thinking rationally, wasn't thinking of what pain it might cause Kenny. It was a rash decision, although I don't necessarily blame her for succumbing to that pain. Most people probably wouldn't be able to keep going.

I understand too, though i think it is even worse to lose not only your child, but your lover as well. I wouldn't wish that upon my worst enemy...

When i saw the shot of Kenny in the attic during the trailer for episode 4, i thought he was going to kill himself there. Strong man.

Yeah, Kenny knew this. That is why he forgave her. But it didnt make it less wrong. She still did a bad thing. She still gave her life, and left her husband alone... It was a shame... :/

Katjaa pampered Duck too much, hell he's older than Clementine. They could've stopped treating him so much like a baby, and they should've taught them how to use guns and self-defense. Anyways, Katjaa had the right to commit suicide especially after her son's death. However, she didn't really think it through and I know she cares for Kenny as well, she just doesn't want to suffer anymore .__.

    I blame her too

Well, its all well and good talking about all the trouble that could have been averted if she was alive, and how selfish she is, but to be honest, she was just completely broken. She wasn't thinking of her family, or the group, all she wanted was it to end. It was the only thing going through her head, and when it comes to the point where you're in such a bad shape you overcome your own will to live, you're practically insane.

I think she was completely disillusioned with the world and what it had turned people into. She was horrified by what Kenny did to Larry, we hear from Kenny in episode 5 how she criticised the way he treated people as well. I see a probable case of "he's not the man i married anymore",

I actually think it was about more than just Duck, i recall asking her if she thought i had done the right thing by leaving Lilly after she killed Carley (which definitely didn't help) and was actually quite surprised by the categorical "yes she had to be left" answer, given her nature she more than anyone i had expected to take a sympathetic view of Lilly's mental state. We see her actually be a little cynical there which i think was a sign that she'd lost faith having seen the group turn on each other and her husband become a harsh man. Even before Duck is bitten if you tell her about Kenny killing Larry /Lee's past she is clearly downtrodden ("everything's changing"). I don't think she wanted any part in it anymore.

My impression was actually that the only reason she took as long to kill herself as she did was because of Duck, because she needed to be there for him. Once he was gone...

Ben, Kenny, and Kat all say they would of left Lily. I do not think Kat is being cynical.
