I find it to be okay if fan-fiction writers find their work to be canon to them, however trying to make it canon to everyone else? Now that's a different.

I can see were you get that feeling from, but some people just had their own idea of how they wanted the season, so they went ahead wrote their own version. Most of the time, they do like this season, or are at least giving it a chance.

Sadly, some people get the wrong idea when you write something your own way and think you didn't like the original, but, usually, it's the opposite.

I've seen a bit, some of them could use some work though. I've also been enjoying ANF and I honestly don't think a rewrite will be necessary.
