Yes, I agree totally. The entirety of Season One has a timespan of almost a year. That is a long time to bond with someone, especially when you've taken on the role of a parent to that person.

I doubt very much they would let her die just because it would be too reminiscent of Season One's ending but, that being said, I'm not entirely sure that she will be the playable character in Season Three.
