Today we’re excited to share with you a look at the upcoming console edition of the hit “survival horde crafting game” 7 Days to Die!
In this video, hear from Richard Huenink of The Fun Pimps on how the game came to be, as well as Dave Lang of Iron Galaxy on what makes 7 Days to Die such a special experience perfectly fit for play on consoles.
For those unfamiliar, 7 Days to Die is an open world sandbox game that takes place after the 3rd world war where you play as a survivor during a viral pandemic which transforms remaining humans into an army of the animated dead. Trapped in the savage, gritty land of Navezgane County Arizona, you must scavenge for supplies and raw materials to build your own tools, traps, weapons, fortifications and shelter to survive the undead horde as each week brings a new onslaught of intense threats.
7 Days to Die combines first person shooting, survival horror, tower defense and role playing elements in a mix of combat, crafting, looting, mining, exploration and character growth to create a unique, addictive experience that has captivated over 1.5 million PC players. We’re thrilled to be working with The Fun Pimps and Iron Galaxy to bring it to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One along with exciting new features like split-screen co-op and exclusive pre-order skins from The Walking Dead - A Telltale Games Series!
We can’t wait for PlayStation and Xbox players to dive right in on June 28th and start scavenging, crafting, building and surviving!
