The Wolf Among Us Remastered Launch Date and Noir Mode Announced at Gamescom

The Telltale team traveled to Gamescom 2026 in Cologne, Germany with two goals: meet our amazing fans and let them get hands-on with The Wolf Among Us Remastered. During the show, we announced that the digital version of the game will launch on Thursday, October 29th – just one month from now, with a physical edition to follow.

We also debuted a new Remastered trailer showing off Noir Mode — one of the new features coming in the remaster. Noir Mode allows players to toggle between the game in black and white, leaning into the noir detective mystery theme, and the neon-noir aesthetic of the original game.

In addition to the new Noir Mode, we started discussing more details of the bonus materials included in Remastered, including more than an hour of behind-the-scenes interviews and videos, playable deleted scenes, and an extensive gallery of images – many that have never previously been released.

The Wolf Among Us Remastered will be available digitally on OCTOBER 29 for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation® 5, Nintendo Switch™, and Xbox One, playable on Xbox Series X|S through backward compatibility. The launch also marks the franchise’s Nintendo debut, bringing the beloved story to a Nintendo platform for the first time. Physical retail editions will follow in Q1 2027, with additional details to be announced
