[RESOLVED] After downloading Episode 2, the main menu will not load.
UPDATE: This issue should now be resolved. Please try restarting the game and allowing it to update completely. Once the update downloads and installs, you should be able to move past the main menu screen.
Currently there is an issue on the PS4 where some users will see the main menu freeze after they install Episode 2.
We are aware of the difficulty this issue is causing and are working on correcting it as quickly as possible. Once we have a confirmed fix for this issue, we will update this support article.
In the meantime, there are three different workarounds you can try to play Episode 2. Any one of these workarounds should allow you to play:
Please try uninstalling the game, then only installing the base game. Launch the game and go to Settings, Languages, and set the Auto Update Language option to 'Off'. Once you do so, you should be able to install Episode 2 and play without seeing this freeze again.
Please try changing your system language. This freeze only occurs when the system language is set to specific languages.
Please try uninstalling the game, then reinstalling just Episode 1. While the game is open, you can download and install Episode 2, then launch the episode. As long as you do not close the game you should be able to play Episode 2.
