I get a white screen when I try to adjust the resolution

Some users on laptops or certain monitors may see a frozen white screen when attempting to play in fullscreen mode or in a certain resolution. If your system has both an integrated card and a dedicated nVidia card, these steps will allow you to bypass this issue and play in fullscreen:

First, please set the game to run on your integrated Intel card:

  1. Open the nVidia Control Panel on your computer.
  2. Select the Manage 3D Settings on the left column.
  3. In the Program Settings tab, click the Add button, then select the game from the pop up menu.
  4. You should see a new drop down menu that allows you to select your preferred graphics processor. Select the Integrated Graphics option here.

Please then launch the game and go into Settings. You should be able to change the game to your preferred resolution and into fullscreen mode. When you are done making these changes, please go back to the main menu to save these settings, then close the game.

Next, please open the nVidia Control Panel again, and go back into Program Settings. Please change your preferred graphics processor back to the high-performance nVidia processor.

The next time you launch the game after following these steps, it should run in your preferred resolution. We recommend setting the game's resolution to the same resolution as your desktop, or to a maximum width of 1920. If you still see a white screen or are unable to interact with the game, please press Alt+Enter on your keyboard to force the game back into windowed mode.
