The Walking Dead A New Frontier Support
[RESOLVED][PATCH OUT] I can't import my save from The Walking Dead - Season Two
The Day 1 patch is now available. Please launch the game while connected to the internet, and you should be prompted to download the Day 1 patch. This will allow you to import local saves if you played Season Two on your Xbox One, and address other issues.
We are aware of an issue where players on Xbox One are not currently able to import their save from The Walking Dead - Season Two into The Walking Dead: A New Frontier. This issue is directly related to a Day 1 patch that has not yet been released. This patch is approved and should be released shortly, but until it is available, local save importing will not be an option.
However, complete season saves that have been uploaded to our website can still be imported into The Walking Dead: A New Frontier, even without the Day 1 patch.
To complete this process, follow the steps to upload your save from The Walking Dead - Season Two to our website outlined in this article: How do I import my save from The Walking Dead - Season Two into The Walking Dead: A New Frontier on a different platform?
Once your save is selected on our website, please launch A New Frontier and follow these steps:
- From the Main Menu, select Settings.
- Select Accounts.
- Log into your Telltale account.
- Once you are logged in, go back to the Main Menu and select Episodes.
- Select Import/Create.
- Select Import.
- The game may say that no valid save is found. Please ignore this and select Completed Steps on this page.
If your save is found you will see a short description of your backstory with the option to 'Accept'. Select this option and begin Episode 1.
