Telltale & Deck Nine take you through ten minutes of gameplay from The Expanse: A Telltale Series

OYE BELTALOWDA!

Don’t worry, inya, you’ll be getting more used to Lang Belta as we start talking even more about The Expanse: A Telltale Series.

Not too long ago, we debuted a brand new gameplay trailer at the IGN FanFest. Hit the link to check it out if you haven’t already!

For those of you who just need a quick refresher, the trailer showcases the level of exploration that’s a first for the genre. Zero-G traversal, anyone?

You’ll also get a brief look at a couple of the tough decisions that you’ll be coming up against, as well as an introduction to some of the crew members who’ll be joining you on your mission.

As a starter, we hope it got those taste buds going, but how about we move onto the main course?

Well, we’ve got a full 10 minutes of gameplay for you to check out! But, if that’s not quite enough for you, how about some behind-the-scenes insight and information?

And how about if it’s coming straight from the mouths of those who know it best?

We hear you, so we very nicely asked Telltale’s VP of Story Development, Zak Garriss, and Deck Nine’s Stephan Frost (Game Director) for a ridealong in The Artemis! Check it out:

The two will take you through what you can expect from The Expanse: A Telltale Series in this taste of what’s to come when the game launches this summer.

You’ll be joining them as they explore a ruined ship that’s been sacked by pirates, as Drummer (voiced by Cara Gee) and her crew try to piece together what’s happened. As well as creeping down dark and deserted corridors, you’ll also see how the Zero-G mechanic works as you float in open space while moving between sections of the ship.

You’ll also get a closer look at one of the difficult decisions teased in the previous gameplay trailer. Did you agree with the choices that Zak and Frost made?

The two will also introduce you to Maya; a key member of Drummer’s crew. We’re still not sure about Frost calling it a ‘beat cute’ though…

We’ve probably talked enough, so watch the video, then jump in on your favorite social platform and tell us how much you like it, beratnas and sesatas! Find us on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

And if you want to wishlist the game…we certainly won’t stop you.

The Expanse: A Telltale Series launches this summer for Xbox, PlayStation and the Epic Game Store.
